Surprising no one that knew her Peggy had grown another inch in the last two years. For most people the only problem that would cause would be in regards to the hems on their pants, but Peggy wasn't most people. The extra inch made walking evenly with her Stark Tech leg awkward which in turn messed with her run and that was not something that she could tolerate. She needed a new leg entirely and for that she had to take a three month trip to Malibu where she spent some time at a top-secret facility being fitted, programmed, and adjusted. It was worth it though -- the new model had a bio-organic flesh covering that was created from her own cells. This new leg was less a prosthetic and more a bionic version of what she had lost.

And it could, in theory, launch missiles.

Back in New York Peggy made it home to the Avenger's Mansion, coming in the back way and announcing her presence by dropping her bag and shield on the floor with a loud thump before heading towards the kitchen. It was Tuesday, pizza day. She was pretty sure there would be leftovers. There usually were.
