Character Name: Margaret Shannon Carter "Peggy" Rogers, American Dream
Age: 21
DOB: September 4, 1991
PB: Candice Accola
Character location/Home: New York City
Alignment (villain, hero, etc): Heroine
Relatives (living/dead?): Captain America (Steve Rogers) - father, living, Agent 13 (Sharon Carter-Rogers) - mother, living, Nomad/US Agent (Joe Rogers) - brother, living.
Abilities: Peggy inherited a diluted from of her father's Super Soldier Serum. This has left her with enhanced metabolic function which results in endurance, speed, and strength vastly in excess of a normal human. Peggy can bench-press approximately 925 pounds and her top speed is 75 mph, but neither her speed nor strength can be sustained for more than 90 minutes. She is a skilled martial artist (specifically judo, as it was her thing as a kid.) She has sniper-level aim and presently is in posession of one of her father's shields. Peggy is multi-lingual, speaking English, German, Russian, French, and Farsi. She is highly gifted in mathematics.
Peggy is financally well off, though not as wealthy as her brother. As stands, Peggy is not entirely certain she is even in her parents' will.
Weaknesses and flaws: Peggy lost her left leg when she was sixteen and was in a battle as a Young Avenger. She has a cybernetic replacement limb that is nearly impossible to distinguish from a real limb, but is vulnerable to technological attack (such as an EMP.)
Personality: Peggy is bright, friendly, bubbly, and could easily be mistaken for someone of lesser intelligence due to her cheerful nature. Her personality is definitely a throw-back to her father's native time and she is deeply respectful and wholesome, generally. She is exceptionally patriotic, though deep down Peggy has some insecurity and some fears about her unknown early history as a prisoner of HYDRA. This insecurity thus far has driven her to be the perfect girl, an embodiment of the American Dream.
Backstory: Peggy was an unexpected baby, but her family was happy when they discovered she was on her way. She was born a little prematurely and had a few health problems as an infant. It was during one of the hospitalizations for these health issues that newborn Peggy was stolen by Red Skull and her parents lead to believe that she had died. As a result, Peggy spent the first four years of her life in a HYDRA facility. It is unknown what was done to her or what she learned in that time. Peggy was rescued by her father and the other Avengers when it was discovered that she had not died.
Upon coming home young Peggy immediately felt like she had to earn her place in the Rogers home and overachieved at everything she attempted as a result. Highly intelligent she was accepted for early admission to ESU at sixteen, but withdrew later that year after losing her leg. She would re-enroll two years later, around the same time she picked up her father's shield for the first time, having decided that being an Avenger was still who she wanted to be. She has taken on the codename American Dream.
Peggy has been courted by SHIELD, but yet to make a decision.
She presently lives in NYC.
